The New Firenze School Grand Opening
September 28th marks the official opening of Istituto Marangoni Firenze - The School of Fashion & Art with an evocative music performance of lights and dance by the Cafelulé Company.
The choice of Florence, cradle of the Renaissance and of extraordinary treasures, the temple of art and culture, and place of birth of renowned fashion designers, best expresses the values of the Italian heritage and quest for excellence that have always marked Istituto Marangoni’s DNA .
The School premise includes 2,900 square meters, among the historic buildings of Giacomini and Strozzi, restructured so to respect the historic charm but with an innovative and contemporary approach so to give the chance to students and teachers to live a unique and stimulating learning and teaching experience. The school will welcome in the next three years more than 600 students from all over the world (including the 140 already admitted), with an highly diversified offer, divided into preparatory programs, three-year, annual, masters and short and intensive courses.
A confirmation of Istituto Marangoni international vision, is the choice of contemporary Art-Design Simon Ma, who will be actively involved in the academic department for the definition of the programs dedicated to art and will give specific the lectures during the annual courses
