The current project is meant to solve the worldwide problem of people being totally addicted to technology and specifically to smartphones. The project include a research on how exactly smartphone overuse is affecting our lives on the psychological, health and private level as well as focusing on the social aspects of the people addicted to their phones. This thesis suggests among other things a possible useful solution, like designing a phone with a very minimal UI UX in order to help the user feel free from the control exerted by their phone. All unnecessary information and commands are removed from the main screen and hidden in and apps are organized in a minimal way, like one per page with intuitive simple controlling. It is not possible in this technological age to persuade people not to overuse gadgets or limit their access to the data, however hiding an instant access to a lot of information and unveiling them through a series of steps might be the direction towards a healthier use of the smartphone all over the globe.
