Fashion Editorial “Fashion Forms”

Gabriella Abuleac moved her first steps in fashion in her home country, Brazil, precisely in the backstage at São Paulo Fashion Week. She is currently attending the final year in Fashion Styling at Istituto Marangoni Paris, and collaborates as a freelancer with photographers and model agencies such as VIVA and KARIN models. She has also worked in the showroom of Stella McCartney and as assistant stylist of Leila Yavari, style director at Stylebop.com. “Fashion Forms” is the curricular project in which Gabriella has best shown her passion for fashion and art; in particular, she regards the latter as a pure representation of human emotions and local cultures. This fashion editorial is a retrospective on aesthetic values, expressed through a bold combination of architectural shapes and volumes belonging to the fashion world, from the shapes of clothes, with a touch of 60's feel and a futuristic design, to those of the models’ movements. Gabriella Abuleac didn‘t leave anything to chance in the planning and production of her shooting. First of all, she chose a sensational set: the “Cobogo House” in São Paulo, a modern house designed by Marcio Kogan and based on Erwin Hauer’s intriguing modular screens. The reiteration of a concept, as volumes and changing shapes of the location render perfectly the idea of “fashion forms” which Gabriella wanted to convey by “combining” architecture and fashion. Expert and practical in the role of a fashion stylist and art director, Gabriella involved outstanding professionals in her project, such as Fernando Pinheiro, acclaimed Brazilian photographer, and Laura Neiva, actress and model, chosen by Karl Lagerfeld as Chanel's Brazilian ambassador, as well as Pedro and Reinaldo Lourenço, stylists of international renown.
