Professional Fashion Insight: Professional Fashion Design

This six‑day intensive program is customized for aspiring designers, junior professionals, and creatives who want to gain a deeper understanding of the professional fashion design process. Participants will explore every step of the design workflow: from visual research and concept development to sketching and material choice.

By the end of the course, each participant will create a concept board and a coordinated capsule collection, applying the techniques and skills acquired.

This course is structured over 1 week, for a total of 20 hours

• Day 1 – Foundation of fashion design: overview of the contemporary fashion design process
• Day 2 – Concept development and design identity: transforming research into a design concept
• Day 3 – Fashion sketching: fashion illustration fundamentals
• Day 4 – The role of materials and fabrics: understanding textile
• Day 5 – Collection development: basics of collection planning
• Day 6 – Final project: finalize and present a concept board and coordinated capsule collection

Classes are scheduled as follows:

• Sunday to Thursday: 3 hours per day (in the evening),
• Saturday 5 hours (10 am – 3 pm)
