Students of the Paris School took part in an inspiring and informative talk dedicated to exploring careers in the beauty industry. Organized within the academic framework of Istituto Marangoni Milan and Paris, the event provided a unique opportunity for students to connect with industry professionals, gain insights into various roles, and receive guidance on their future career paths.
A central highlight of the event was the presentation of the book ""The Beauty Insider: A Guide for Aspiring Professionals" by Istituto Marangoni", an official publication authored by journalists Barbara Nicolini and Paola Occhipinti. Drawing from their extensive experience in the beauty industry, the two authors have compiled a comprehensive guide that explores the wide spectrum of professions within the beauty industry. From product development, branding, and marketing, to editorial content and digital strategy, the book offers a rich, behind-the-scenes look at the sector’s many career possibilities.
During the talk, Barbara Nicolini and Paola Occhipinti shared their motivations for writing the book, the research process that involved interviews with key figures in the industry from big beauty companies as L'Oréal, LVMH, Estée lauder, and the emerging trends that are shaping the future of beauty. Their insights gave students a clearer view of how creativity, business strategy, and personal passion come together in his fast-evolving field.

In addition to the authors’ contributions, two distinguished industry leaders joined the event to share their professional journeys and offer career advice:
Davide Micotti, Country General Manager at Shiseido, discussed the strategic and managerial aspects of working within a global beauty group, highlighting the importance of innovation, brand identity, and cultural awareness.
Marc Gevaudan, Digital Director at Estée Lauder, explored the digital transformation of the beauty industry, emphasizing the increasing demand for digital marketing, data analytics, and content creation skills.

Throughout the day, students had the chance to interact with the speakers, ask questions, and gain personalized advice. The event sparked meaningful conversations and encouraged students to reflect on their professional goals with renewed confidence and clarity.
