The material I chose to recycle is used coffee grounds. Coffee for most people is not just a beverage, it’s an emotion. Humanity runs on coffee. In my opinion, the barrier between people and choosing sustainable products is emotion and aesthetics. My thorough research on the used coffee grounds includes understanding the physical properties of the material and exploring its maximum capacity as a product. The product I intend to create using used coffee grounds is about developing more of a sustainability habit and also working on the good health of people and the environment. I decided to make a smart plant in order to solve the issue of the fear of food adulteration. It is a smart plant that waters itself. You can go two weeks off without doing anything. There is also an application that helps you understand your problem better. As a whole I wanted to promote the concept of smart gardens for a sustainable lifestyle.
