The new frontiers of design in virtual reality at Design Week 2023
Istituto Marangoni Milano • The School of Design will be at Milan Design Week again this year with a selection of projects created by students in collaboration with leading design and tech companies.
As part of the School's cultural programme for this academic year titled Sentient Horizons, the exhibition plan for the Milan Design Week 2023 presents the most recent projects with which the School attempts to answer the questions that new technologies such as the Metaverse and Artificial Intelligence increasingly pose to our living spaces.
The exhibitions and events will be displayed in different parts of the city, from the School's headquarters on Via Cerva to the SuperStudio spaces on Via Tortona and extending into the Metaverse. The tangible is no longer a limit but a starting point for creating projects that manage to "go beyond" by merging the concrete world with the virtual one, now a stable extension of our lives.
Expanded Universes
The Istituto Marangoni Design Degree Show 2022, will present, through an unprecedented itinerary, the best projects of the 3-year students who have focused on the research theme of the academic year 2021/22 'Expanded Universes'.

Planned by Istituto Marangoni • The School of Design in collaboration with Snapchat and Vanity Fair Italy, the event features a series of projects created by the Visual Design dept. students, which have been virtually placed inside the Vanity Fair Social Garden on Via Bergognone 26 and can be accessed by scanning Snapcodes.
