Uncover the stories behind the Designers and their distinctive creations
Istituto Marangoni has been committed for years to providing concrete support to its best talents, and it does so through its long-standing collaboration with WHITE MILANO, the international fashion trade show that has been attracting the best buyers and operators in the sector during Milan Fashion Week for over 20 years.

It’s a unique opportunity for our Alumni, not only because they can network with professionals and designers, but also because it fosters a mutual exchange of ideas and creativity, a hallmark of Istituto Marangoni’s vibrant Community.
The event features a branded showroom, where Five selected Alumni Designers exhibit their works and meet buyers to sell their collections.
They have shared with us their ideas and creativity. Let’s take a look.
Founder of CASCINELLI
Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Accessories & Design, Milano, 2021
Filippo Cascinelli Staudacher is a fashion designer specialized in menswear. After professional experiences in renowned companies such as Prada and Versace, in 2024 he launched the eponymous brand, CASCINELLI, at Pitti Immagine.
The collection focuses on sportswear and menswear jackets, with a strong emphasis on ultra-light nylon fabrics. The standout creative element is the floral embroidery, inspired by the designer’s family garden and his grandmother’s love for growing hydrangeas. Each flower is laser-cut and meticulously hand-sewn, making every piece unique and instantly recognizable.
The brand balances urban elegance with technical performance and emphasizes ethical practices, partnering with local producers and using sustainable materials for a truly responsible supply chain.
Founder and Creative Director of FIALLO
Master's Degree in Luxury Accessories Design & Management, Firenze, 2019
Originally from Ecuador, Felipe Fiallo is a sustainable footwear designer, internationally recognized for his eco-futuristic vision and technical approach to his creations. He describes FIALLO as a "Milanese brand with a Latin american spirit", blending luxury with high performance.
The brand's main goal is to create an all-day shoe that combines the comfort and features of a sneaker with the richness and materials of a classic dress shoe. FIALLO'S shoes can adapt to your foot and therefore enhance the wearability without losing performance.
The brand's production goes from North to South Italy: it starts in Montebelluna concerning outsoles and performance, then it continues in Tuscany for the supply of leather's material, and it finishes in South italy (Lecce city) with the production.
Founder of Maison Rags
Master's Degree in Fashion Luxury & Brand Management, Milano, 2023
With a solid background in marketing and branding, Santonastaso has worked with renowned brands such as Kiton, Valextra, Valentino, and Cruciani.
In 2024 Giuseppe founded Maison Rags, an emerging brand with production based in Campania.
Aiming to enhance transparency, Maison Rags incorporates NFC tags in every garment, allowing full traceability from fabric sourcing to final production.
The goal of the project is to blend Neapolitan tailoring with contemporary luxury and the silhouettes of streetwear, using materials like denim, wool, and cashmere. Every piece is Made in Italy, reimagined with a modern twist. Take the oversized linen jacket, for example: a traditional piece with a contemporary flair.
Founder of Lukas Christ
Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design & Accessories, Milano, 2022
Lukas Christ considers himself as a bohemian designer with a minimal approach.
Crafted Made in Italy, the collection takes inspiration from Lukas’ Austrian Heritage, infusing with his trips to Marrakech. At the heart of this third collection lies the image of a woman wandering through secret gardens and unexplored places: structured silhouettes but with a twist in their details.
The materials used for this collection are all organic and even recycled: from lynen to cotton, right to recycled silk coming from Como. With raw materials consumers can have better performance in terms of durability.
According to the designer, sustainability should be interpreted as wearability: one piece can be worn several years, making fashion trends last over time.
Founder of Wonderkid
Fashion Design Intensive, Milano, 2021
Nicolae Loghin launched Wonderkid brand in 2023 and, from the very beginning, stood out for its modern, innovative approach to denim.
Nicolae chooses denim because he believes to be one of the most versatile materials to work with. Its design philosophy combines confidence, individuality, and a forward-thinking aesthetic that resonates with a new generation of consumers.
The designer's inspiration and creativity come from the way he experiences life and observe people, in terms of their personalities and unique traits.
