Top emerging designers and global icons take the stage at Riyadh Fashion Week 2025. From couture to streetwear, see who’s shaping Saudi fashion

Riyadh Fashion Week 2025: Where Innovation Meets Heritage

Riyadh Fashion Week 2025 made a huge impact on the global stage, bringing together emerging talent and iconic names in a five-day celebration of couture, creativity, and culture. Throughout the week, designers from Saudi Arabia and beyond unveiled their Spring/Summer 2026 collections, blending heritage with innovation, while Riyadh firmly cemented its place on the global fashion map. From couture masterpieces to contemporary street style, the event highlighted both rising stars and established names shaping the future of luxury in the Kingdom.

Bedrock Riyadh and Beyond: Couture, Streetwear, and Exclusive Runway Shows

The first two days, held at the remarkable Bedrock Riyadh, featured couture and prêt-à-porter presentations that pushed the boundaries of craftsmanship, emotion, and modern femininity. From the very first start, it was clear that the event had attracted fashion industry professionals, KOLs, and influential figures from across the globe—including buyers from WHITE Milano and M60 Showroom, as well as journalists, industry leaders, and top fashion influencers.

In the following days, the presence of international insiders continued as the focus shifted to ready-to-wear and contemporary streetwear in the Al Mamlaka, JAX, and KAFD districts. Meanwhile, exclusive, intimate showings at the Mandarin Oriental Riyadh offered a closer look at designers’ creations in a more personal setting.

For those tracking the pulse of global fashion, Riyadh Fashion Week 2025 offered glimpses of the season’s most compelling visions, with designers boldly setting the tone for the years ahead. In the following selection, we will take a closer look at the names and collections that stood out, capturing both the craftsmanship and ambition that define Riyadh’s burgeoning fashion scene.

The Designers You Can’t Miss at Riyadh Fashion Week 2025

1.Tima Abid – Grief as Grace SS26

Tima Abid opened Riyadh Fashion Week 2025 with a deeply personal and evocative collection. Before the show began, each seat held a black cartoon fan inscribed with the words: “The most beautiful presence tonight—a soul with no victims. My mother.”

The designer translated sorrow into movement and emotion into couture. Velvet, sequins, and lace merged in breathtaking designs, blending sensuality with purity. Each gown whispered resilience, portraying grief not as darkness, but as transformation. The semi-revealing silhouettes embodied both fragility and strength, an ode to womanhood reborn through loss.

Notable front-row guests at the Tima Abid SS26 show included Fatema Al Awadhi, Deema Al Asadi, and Reema Al Swaidi.

2. Adnan Akbar – Oasis Legacy SS26

Next came Adnan Akbar’s Oasis Legacy, a vision of timeless eveningwear. The designer revisited his heritage by showcasing silk drapes, corseted waists, and intricate stone embellishments. The palette glowed like the sunset over the dunes—amber, ivory, and shimmering brown—creating a symphony of softness and structure. Each silhouette was an exquisite expression of couture at its finest.

3. Atelier Hekayat – A Ticket to the Theatre SS26

Then came the drama. Atelier Hekayat’s A Ticket to the Theatre transformed the runway into a cinematic stage. Feathers, exaggerated volumes, and unapologetic epatage celebrated craftsmanship, theatrical flair, and imagination. The sisters behind the brand—available at Harvey Nichols Riyadh and poised for further expansion—once again proved that Saudi fashion is about expression, wit, and artistic rebellion.

4. Special International Guest – Vivienne Westwood x Art of Heritage Spring 2026

The first day concluded with a historic show by Vivienne Westwood at the Palm Grove. It was the first international house to participate in Riyadh Fashion Week with its boudoir-inspired Spring 2026 collection.

According to WWD, “The runway show featured archival designs, some Spring 2026 looks, and the handiwork of Saudi artisans. There were bursts of applause when the pieces created in collaboration with Art of Heritage appeared, the first a draped, grass-green gown with a flowing skirt and structured bodice glimmering with antique gold threads arranged in geometric patterns.”

Westwood’s timeless codes—tartan patterns, deconstructed tailoring, and corsetry—created a visual dialogue that resonated with Saudi consumers by combining traditional culture with modern aesthetics. The show closed with Jessica Kahawaty, who wore a sculpted ivory gown. It was not just a show; it was a powerful statement and a bridge between different worlds.

The second day carried the conversation forward, reflecting how the Kingdom’s fashion scene is redefining modern style. The Saudi brand Rebirth delivered Tactile Gestures, a collection that balanced precision and softness.

Architectural tailoring blended seamlessly with fluid movement, while the colour palette remained loyal to modern neutrals. The finale drew a standing ovation, a rare moment of collective admiration that resonated far beyond the venue.

Why Riyadh Fashion Week 2025 Marks a New Chapter in Saudi Fashion

From Arabian couture to conscious luxury, each designer contributed to a larger narrative of transformation, pride, and boundless imagination. Riyadh Fashion Week 2025 reflected the Kingdom’s evolving fashion scene, combining emotion, authenticity, and experimentation.

According to Fashion Network, “with its Vision 2030 strategy, Saudi Arabia intends to develop new areas of its economy, including fashion and luxury, relying on the growth of tourism, which is set to play a key role.”

“With a young and educated population, all these sectors have a lot of potential and also represent an untapped opportunity for international players. Having initiated the movement in recent years, we now need to structure the fashion economy by connecting it to Saudi identity, culture and heritage, as well as tourist destinations, to propel this new narrative,” said Burak Cakmak, CEO of the Saudi Fashion Commission.
