The visit to Nilaya Anthology, guided by tutor Manuela, provided Interior and Product Design students with a tangible perspective on material exploration, craftsmanship, and luxury interiors. Interaction with curated collections of international makers and Indian artisans highlighted the importance of textile design, surface detailing, and aesthetic curation in contemporary spaces. This experience bridged theory with application, preparing students to engage with global standards of interior styling and product development.

At the Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Museum, guided by tutor Martina, Fashion Design and Styling students immersed themselves in the study of heritage textiles, cultural craftsmanship, and historical design narratives. The museum exhibits offered perspective on how traditional forms and materials inform modern aesthetics, strengthening understanding of fashion history and cultural relevance in design practice.

The session reinforced the value of hand-rendered techniques and creative expression in an increasingly digital design environment, sharpening each participant’s ability to communicate visually with clarity and emotion.

The introduction to the Solli Concepts Workshop added a layer of professional insight. The Solli team presented approaches to design entrepreneurship, sustainable product innovation, and market-driven creativity, aligning academic study with real-world design processes.
