Industry Project with Ferragamo for the Paris School
Industry Project with Ferragamo for the Paris School
The school in Paris is proud to renew the collaboration with Ferragamo, the iconic Italian luxury brand celebrated for its timeless elegance, refined craftsmanship, and innovative spirit.
This year, the Partnership was developed with the Master Course in Fashion Buying & Merchandising, offering students a unique opportunity to engage directly with one of the most prestigious names in the luxury industry.
As part of this collaboration, students visited Ferragamo’s boutique at 45 Avenue Montaigne in Paris, where they were warmly welcomed by Jonathan Carlier, the Store Manager. During the visit, students took part in an interactive conversation exploring Ferragamo’s brand identity, retail strategies, and the evolving landscape of luxury fashion.
The visit marked the launch of their industry project, which invites students to apply their analytical and creative skills to real-world business challenges while gaining a deeper understanding of merchandising and buying processes within a leading fashion house.
THE INDUSTRY PROJECT
Students will analyse Ferragamo’s Montaigne flagship store and propose strategies to attract younger audience. Thanks to the visit, students had a better understanding about Ferragamo’s market position, merchandising, customer experience, and visual merchandising. They are expected to recommend a future target audience, improved product assortment, enhanced customer experience, and a refreshed visual merchandising concept—all aligned with Ferragamo’s heritage.
This continued partnership reflects the shared commitment of Ferragamo and Istituto Marangoni Paris to bridging the gap between academic learning and professional practice, inspiring and preparing the next generation of fashion business leaders.
