On Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 March, the new home of Istituto Marangoni Milano will be among the featured locations of the FAI Spring Days, the national event dedicated to discovering Italy’s historical and artistic heritage.

The public will have the opportunity to visit the 19th-century spaces of Palazzo Turati, located in Via Meravigli 7, in the heart of Milan, which now house the School.

The guided tour, lasting approximately 45 minutes, will lead visitors through a journey across history, art and fashion, combining the neoclassical charm of the building with the contemporary creativity of Istituto Marangoni’s students.

From the Courtyard of Honour and the monumental staircase, visitors will reach the piano nobile to admire the 19th-century frescoed rooms – the Music Room, the Prometheus Room and the Blue Drawing Room – enriched by works from artists such as Lodovico Pogliaghi, Mosè Bianchi and Giovanni Bertini.

Along the way, guests will also be able to discover the exhibiton Futures Archive, celebrating 90 years of Istituto Marangoni’s history – a dialogue between past and present that reflects the School’s enduring connection between education, culture and innovation.

This initiative offers a unique opportunity to discover one of Milan’s most fascinating examples of neo-Renaissance architecture, and to rediscover – through the special opening promoted by FAI, the value of Italian cultural heritage.
