Short Courses 2025: intensive training and new perspectives

This year, the Short Courses at Istituto Marangoni Milano Design introduced exciting new opportunities, expanding the academic offer with programmes that combine tradition and innovation. Alongside the well-established courses in Interior Design, Interior Design for Professionals, and Product Design, a brand-new and highly relevant programme was launched: AI for Design.
Innovation as a creative ally
The new course dedicated to artificial intelligence offered students a unique chance to explore the relationship between technology and creativity. Throughout the lessons, participants learned to use advanced digital tools and experiment with generative design, opening up new scenarios where imagination and innovation meet.
Learning beyond the classroom
The experience was not limited to theory: each student had the opportunity to develop a complete project while enriching their learning through a series of exclusive visits. From the Step Museum to the showrooms of internationally renowned brands and designers such as Cappellini, Edra, Gessi, and Marazzi, every stop offered a tangible encounter with industry excellence.
Adding even more value to the programme were exclusive workshops, including one led by Cel Paduleski, who shared his expertise and vision of contemporary design with students.

Concentrated and flexible training
Short Courses are designed as a true concentration of education: within just a few weeks, students can acquire the fundamentals of a field, enhance existing skills, or simply explore a new passion. Their flexible structure makes them ideal for beginners in design, art, and fashion, as well as for professionals seeking to update their knowledge. For many, they also become a springboard toward longer study paths or future career opportunities.
A celebratory conclusion
The most exciting moment, however, comes at the end: after intense days of lessons, visits, and shared experiences, students receive official recognition for their achievements. Each conclusion becomes a small celebration, a joyful occasion that reflects not only the goals accomplished, but also the enthusiasm and passion these courses inspire.
