PolyU Business School Immersive Experience

Istituto Marangoni remains committed to fostering the connection between business and fashion through dedicated initiatives aimed at students globally.
In May this year, MBA students at PolyU Business School (PBS) in Hong Kong had the opportunity to attend the tailored short course Fashion Luxury Brand Management at Istituto Marangoni Paris.
Participants engaged in a hands-on learning experience that combined traditional classroom sessions with visits to companies and museums, creating a seamless transition from theory to practical application.
In its 1st edition, the programme evaluates the key success factors in building communication strategy for luxury brands of fashion and beauty, from conception to development and recommends an appropriate course of action in response to a given brief.
In groups, participants worked on a study case choosing and analysing a French fashion or beauty luxury brand, exploring its competitive landscape, analysing its product range identifying reasons for the brand’s performance. They identified issues within the context of branding and communication and creatively and strategically offered solutions by suggesting a short- and long-term recommendations for change proposing original and innovative advice, applying strategic and creative solutions.
This experience also gave PolyU MBA students the possibility to analyse communication strategies in generating and communicating innovative solutions for the luxury industry, visiting exclusive venues, including the Foundation Alaia and the new exhibition the House of Worth at the Petit Palais in Paris.
Istituto Marangoni looks forward to continuing its collaboration with PBS, one of Hong Kong’s leading international business schools, with the aim of promoting interdisciplinary innovation and expanding business students’ understanding of the fashion and design sectors
