ISTITUTO MARANGONI X VOGUE THAILAND SCHOLARSHIP CONTEST

Istituto Marangoni, in collaboration with Vogue Thailand, launches a scholarship contest for young creatives.

The initiative invites participants to build an original creative project that showcases their imagination, visual culture, and personal voice through fashion, design, image, and innovation.

Selected winners will receive scholarships to enroll in eligible BA, One-Year Intensive, or MA programmes at Istituto Marangoni’s international schools in Milan, Florence, Paris, London, and Dubai, within the same study areas listed in this brief.

THE CONTEST

Participants are invited to choose one of the following themes as the conceptual foundation of their project, translating it into a personal and original creative vision:

1. WONDERLAND — “Reality, but with a hidden door": Create a project that transforms everyday life into an unexpected universe: surreal details, playful symbols, dream-logic, illusion, scale-shifts, and visual paradoxes. Think of wonder as a tool to redesign how we see style, objects, spaces, beauty, and identity.
   
   
2. URBAN NATURE — “The city grows back.”: Imagine nature as an active force inside the city: plants reclaiming architecture, bio-materials, street ecosystems, climate aesthetics, new rituals of care, and sustainable lifestyles. The focus is not “environmental theory,” but visible, tangible creativity: forms, textures, behaviours, and new urban beauty codes.
   
   
3. UNDERGROUND CULTURE — “Subcultures shape the mainstream.”: Create a project inspired by subcultures, independent scenes, and alternative communities: club culture, DIY aesthetics, street codes, radical typography, underground beauty, local scenes, hidden venues, zines, tattoos, sound-driven visuals. The aim is to show authenticity, attitude, and cultural research translated into a coherent creative output.
   
   
4. YOUTH SPIRIT — “The energy of now.”: Interpret youth as a cultural engine: freedom, vulnerability, rebellion, softness, speed, friendship, identity experimentation, digital-native aesthetics, new beauty standards, and social micro-trends. Focus on a strong, personal lens—not a generic “young people” moodboard.

Finalists and selected participants may be featured in Vogue Thailand’s digital channels, celebrating the emerging voices shaping the future of fashion, design, and beauty.

THE SCHOLARSHIP

Istituto Marangoni offers to the best talents the opportunity to benefit from a deduction on the tuition fee (enrollment fee is always due) for the chosen course starting in Autumn 2026 at Istituto Marangoni Schools:

• Up to 5.000€ for the Foundation course (Entry Programmes)

• Up to 50% for Three-year Undergraduate courses

• Up to 10.000€ for One-Year Intensive and Master courses
