TIME FOR ART, ENVISIONING THE FUTURE OF ART
Istituto Marangoni Firenze is pleased to announce a new scholarship contest in collaboration with COLLEZIONE MARAMOTTI, dedicated to the world of contemporary visual arts.
INDUSTRY PARTNER
Collezione Maramotti is a private contemporary art collection which opened to visitors in 2007: it is located in the historical headquarters of Max Mara company, in Reggio Emilia. The Collection consists of several hundred works of art that date from 1945 to the present, of which something more than two hundred are on permanent display as an in-depth presentation of a number of the central artistic tendencies, both Italian and international, of the second half of the 20th Century.
Most of the Collection’s 21st Century works have not been included in the permanent exhibition,and are presented in theme-based shows in the ground-floor spaces for temporary exhibitions, spaces where projects commissioned to international artists are also regularly exhibited.
THE CONTEST
Time for Art – Empowering Visions in the Future of Creativity invites candidates to imagine and interpret the future of visual arts through original and innovative artistic expressions.
In a constantly evolving landscape shaped by technology, new media, and cultural transformations, what role will art play? How will it change?
Participants are invited to present their own artistic vision of tomorrow, offering a unique and speculative perspective on what lies ahead in the world of creativity.
Requirements:
- One visual moodboard or a short video (max 30 seconds) exploring the concept from a multimedia perspective
OR
- One conceptual moodboard accompanied by a short abstract (max 1,000 characters) summarizing the curatorial idea and the main themes of the project.

THE SCHOLARSHIP
The most exceptional proposals will receive a deduction on the tuition fee (kindly note that the enrolment fee is always due) for courses starting in September 2025 at the FIRENZE School, as follows:
- Up to €15,000 (€5,000 per year) for Three-year Undergraduate courses
- Up to 50% off tuition fee for Master Courses
