CASSINA LIVING EVOLUTION · TALENT CONTEST FOR THE MILANO DESIGN SCHOOL

Cassina, a pioneer in Italian design since 1927, invites students of the Master in Product & Furniture Design at Istituto Marangoni to produce a compelling short video exploring their vision of the future way of living. This initiative aims to uncover innovative and forward-thinking insights that resonate with Cassina’s core values: innovation, craftsmanship, and style.

THE CONTEST

How will the spaces we inhabit evolve in the future? What new lifestyles, values and relationships will redefine the concept of living in the years to come?

Istituto Marangoni Milano Design, in collaboration with Cassina, launches “Cassina Living Evolution”, an international scholarship contest dedicated to young creatives applying for the Master in Product & Furniture Design

The contest invites participants to imagine new visions of contemporary living through the language of video and visual storytelling, exploring how evolving lifestyles, emerging technologies and new cultural sensibilities may redefine the future of living. Through an original and visually compelling narrative, candidates will be asked to reflect on the relationship between design, innovation, sustainability and human experience, interpreting Cassina’s vision through a contemporary and forward-thinking perspective. The objective of the contest is to produce a compelling short video (max 40 seconds) exploring their vision of the future way of living.

Applicants are required to create a visionary and impactful short video with a maximum duration of 40 seconds, capable of illustrating their perspective on the future of living. Participants may use visual storytelling, motion graphics, footage, voice-over, sound design or any audiovisual language capable of building a contemporary, emotional and visually engaging narrative.

THE SCHOLARSHIP

The winner will be awarded a scholarship up to 50% deduction on the tuition fee (enrollment fee is due) for the Master Product & Furniture Design starting in September 2026 in Milano Design School.

The deadline for submissions is July 31st, 2026.
