Talent Contest with Marcel Wanders for the Milano Design School
DESIGN BEYOND IMAGINATION • IN PARTNERSHIP WITH MARCEL WANDERS
Istituto Marangoni Milano Design, in partnership with internationally renowned designer Marcel Wanders, presents a new Scholarship Contest inviting emerging talents to explore the possibilities of imagination, storytelling and creative experimentation.
Inspired by the distinctive creative universe of Marcel Wanders, where ordinary objects and spaces become extraordinary experiences, the initiative encourages participants to challenge conventions and develop their own vision of design.
THE CONTEST
What would a world shaped entirely by your imagination look like? What objects, environments, emotions and experiences would define it?
Participants are invited to envision an original creative universe, translating their personal ideas into a visual narrative that reflects their individual perspective.
Applicants are invited to express their creative vision through an original project, choosing one of the following formats:
- A short video of up to 90 seconds.
- An AI-generated image accompanied by a description of up to 500 characters.
- An A3 visual moodboard accompanied by a description of up to 500 characters.
Projects will be evaluated by a jury comprising representatives of Istituto Marangoni Milano Design, considering originality, innovation, overall quality and the effectiveness of the creative vision.
