Born in Beijing, at the age of 16 he moved to england to complete his secondary education. After graduating from Istituto Marangoni Milano with a masters in fashion design womenswear, he came back to the United Kingdom and launched his menswear brand. Back in Beijing, he opened his own studio. He has won awards from prestigious organisations, such as cctv and china national garment association. In 2009 and 2012 he was declared “designer of the year” by esquire China.
