Carraturo
Matteo Carraturo was born in Naples on June 3rd, 1992, and since childhood he has always been fond of visual and graphic design, a passion that brought him to the point of asking his mother to gift him a t-shirt printer.
He attends art school, specializing in visual design, and then starts working for his family company.
He moves to Milano in 2010 to attend the Graphic Design course at Istituto Marangoni, and, in 2013, his work “Radar” wins the Best Graphic Design Project Award. After graduation, he starts working for Philipp Plein: commuting between Lugano and Milano, he becomes Senior Graphic Designer for the renowned Swiss brand. In June 2015 he enters the creative team of GCDS, acronym of “God Can’t Destroy Streetwear”, as Head of Design. The streetwear brand, which has been worn by VIPs such as Chiara Ferragni and Bella Hadid, showcased for the first time within the Milano Fashion Week last June 2017.
