Yuetong Shi, I'M Alumna of the Bachelor's course in Visual Design and Master's course in Surface & Textile Design at Istituto Marangoni Milano Design, is a Chinese visual designer and art director based in Dubai.

After completing the Bachelor in Visual Design course at Milano Design school in 2018, she continued her studies with a Master in Surface and Textile Design, completed in 2019. In the same year, she joined the Prisma Project, the group of talented graduates from Istituto Marangoni Milano Design aimed at promoting collaboration between its members and prestigious Italian design brands. She is currently course leader of the Visual Design program at Istituto Marangoni Dubai, art director for Studio Nehri, a lifestyle brand inspired by Tibetan culture in the sacred city of Lhasa, and also works as a freelancer.

Over the course of her career, Yuetong has taken part in numerous prestigious projects, namely, in 2024, the “Design to Move” exhibition, organized by Technogym on the occasion of the brand's 40th anniversary during Milan Design Week. Together with internationally renowned designers, she reinterpreted the famous Technogym Bench with the Eternal Wellness project, which blends Italian craftsmanship with traditional Chinese aesthetics through hand-drawn symbols and references to vintage Oriental graphics to express a holistic vision of wellness.

In 2025, also during Milan Design Week, she was selected among the three designers for the project “Design Hold Memories,” promoted by Istituto Marangoni Milano Design and Smeg. The project involved the transformation of three FAB refrigerators into unique works of art, presented in an immersive installation. For the occasion, Yuetong created Double Happiness, a work inspired by his parents' divorce, reflecting on the origins of their marriage. The design blends the Double Happiness symbol with abstract 80s motifs, conveying wonder, melancholy and serenity.
