Bachelor's degree (180 CFA equivalent to 180 ECTS credits) recognized by the Ministry of University and Research
This Bachelor's Degree course recognized by MUR (Ministry of University and Research) provides students with the technical and creative skills needed to manage complex projects and become professional artists, including art critics, journalists, exhibition curators, and many other figures in the art and fashion world.
The course teaches students how visual language works and how it relates to cultural context. In addition, the course provides participants with the perfect skills to independently manage large events and create communication campaigns.
An art curator is responsible for the overall management of an art exhibition, be it an art gallery or a fashion event. The selection and arrangement of works, along with the creation of the narrative that characterizes the experience, are key aspects of this role. In an increasingly digitally influenced environment, the curator must integrate cutting-edge techniques to present and communicate art and fashion projects in an effective and innovative way.
Istituto Marangoni Firenze offers a unique opportunity for visual culture enthusiasts and those who wish to explore the history of art and fashion, providing a perfect environment to explore these two synergies and develop new perspectives. In addition, with its proximity to world-class museums, the prestigious Pitti Immagine, and partnerships with institutions such as Palazzo Strozzi, students can immerse themselves in ancient and contemporary art. Access to a rich heritage of crafts and production centers also provides an unparalleled context for exploration and creativity.
The enrollment fee is due every year

The curriculum also includes a focus on the anthropology of art, providing a solid theoretical foundation and making room for the exploration and use of static and moving images
THIRD YEAR
Art Exhibition as final project
Students focus on developing their final project (art exhibition or publishing project), presented through installations, performances, exhibitions or digital projects becoming autonomous on all levels: from the cultural and curatorial aspect to the economic and managerial strategy. In fact, the third-year curriculum also includes courses in marketing and communication of complex events, with direct interactions with fashion professionals and lectures/seminars by cultural managers, which are the main protagonists and experts in the field. The final outcome of the project (which is an original artwork and its related presentation), is evaluated by a panel of tutors and Art Experts, for valuable feedback consistent with what the market will demand from future art and fashion professionals.
