AI-Curated Fashion Image & Film Production
This professional program offers a comprehensive exploration of how Artificial Intelligence transforms high-end fashion image-making and film production while preserving the essence of human creativity and artistic authorship
At the end of the course, partecipants will receive an Istituto Marangoni Certificate
Through a combination of theoretical lectures, practical workshops, and immersive production experiences, participants will master AI-assisted workflows that enhance — rather than replace — the craftsmanship behind fashion photography, styling, casting, and film direction.
Participants will conceptualize, produce, and present two professional-level projects:
- A Photo & Fashion Film Project in Paris, exploring AI as a creative curation and pre-production tool.
- A Final AI-Enhanced Image & Film Project in London, focusing on editing, narrative direction, and post-production curation.
Each project emphasizes collaboration with real models, real garments, and authentic production teams, integrating AI for efficiency, creative ideation, aesthetic direction, and visual storytelling.
This program is designed for:
- Fashion and beauty image professionals seeking to integrate AI tools into editorial and campaign production.
- Fashion photographers, film directors, and stylists who aim to elevate their creative process with digital innovation.
- Art directors, brand content managers, and digital creatives within luxury, fashion, or media industries.
- Entrepreneurs and creative producers aspiring to adopt AI-powered creative direction for brand storytelling.
- Postgraduate students and emerging professionals in fashion communication, media, and visual design seeking advanced specialization.
Participants are expected to have foundational experience in fashion image-making, visual communication, or media production.
By the end of this program, participants will:
- Master AI-enhanced workflows for creative direction, production design, and visual storytelling.
- Develop ethical and culturally sensitive practices in AI-assisted image-making.
- Integrate AI tools into real-world photo and film production using real models and garments.
- Build a professional mixed-media portfolio blending human artistry and AI precision.

Upon completion, participants will graduate with:
- Two professional fashion campaigns (photo + video) demonstrating AI integration with real model and garment production.
- A fully curated digital portfolio suitable for professional publication or agency presentation.
- A strategic workflow toolkit integrating AI into visual production and creative direction.
- A network of industry contacts in Paris and London, including creative directors, photographers, stylists, and brand managers.

Part of the course will require onsite presence in London and Paris:

Theme: AI Ethics, Creative Direction, and Visual Innovation
• Lecture (2.5h): The evolution of fashion imagery in the AI era — authorship, integrity, and creative authenticity
• Guest Lecture (2.5h): Art Director or Image Curator on balancing data-driven aesthetics with brand identity
• Workshop: Using AI platforms for visual concept generation and narrative mapping
• Project Preparation (5h/week): Develop initial concept boards, creative direction narrative, and visual research for the Paris shoot
Module 2 (Weeks 5–8) – From 13 April to 09 May 2026 - Online
Styling, Casting & AI-Augmented Production
Theme: Pre-production and Creative Collaboration
• Lecture (2.5h): AI-enhanced styling systems — wardrobe simulation, trend intelligence, and cultural accuracy
• Guest Lecture (2.5h): International Casting Director on AI ethics in casting diversity and representation
• Workshop: Integrating AI tools for styling cohesion, lighting concepts, and production planning
• Project (5h/week): Create pre-production dossier for a Fashion Show: casting profiles, styling lineup, location AI simulations
Module 3 (Weeks 9–12) – From 11 May 2026 to 06 June 2026 - Online
Balancing AI Efficiency with Human Artistry in Photography & Film
Theme: Creative Harmony Between Machine Assistance and Human Vision
• Lecture (2.5h): The philosophy of “Human in the Loop” — ensuring creativity remains human-led in AI-assisted production
• Guest Lecture (2.5h): Renowned Fashion Photographer or Cinematographer on integrating AI into studio and on-location shoots
• Workshop: Image refinement and hybrid media — color grading, composition, and AI-aided lighting adjustments
• Project Preparation (5h/week): Develop Paris shoot storyboard, shot list, and concept narrative integrating mixed-media outputs
Module 4 (Weeks 13–14) – From 08 June 2026 to 20 June 2026 - Online
Fashion Image & Film Direction: Concept to Curation
Theme: AI in Editing, Direction, and Brand Storytelling
• Lecture (2.5h): AI for film editing, scene sequencing, and emotional rhythm in fashion storytelling
• Guest Lecture (2.5h): Creative Director from a luxury fashion house on brand-authentic storytelling with AI
• Workshop: AI-driven visual coherence — merging stills, motion, and audio for luxury-level brand narratives
• Project Preparation (5h/week): Finalize AI-assisted direction and edit plans for both onsite productions
Experiential Weeks (Weeks 15–16) – From 22 June 2026 to 04 July 2026 - Onsite (Paris and London)

Week 15 – Paris Immersive Production Week (30 Hours) - From 22 June 2026 to 27 June 2026
Location: Paris Fashion District, Studio & On-Site Shoot
Theme: AI-Curated Photo & Film Production with Real Models and Garments
Activities:
• Professional fashion shoot and short film direction using AI-enhanced production planning tools
• Integration of real models, fashion stylists, hair & makeup teams, and lighting designers
• Workshop on mixed-media production — blending AI imagery, real footage, and in-camera artistry
• Daily review sessions with Paris-based fashion photographers and film directors
• AI-assisted on-site post-production using Runway ML and Adobe Firefly
Output:
A completed photo and film project demonstrating concept-to-capture integration of AI curation with human-led creative production.
Week 16 – London Immersive Production & Presentation Week (30 Hours) - From 29 June 2026 to 04 July 2026
Location: London Studios & Presentation Venue
Theme: AI-Enhanced Editing, Post-Production & Executive Presentation
Activities:
• Editing and grading workshops with AI-powered editing software
• Sound design, voice-over integration, and video branding
• Portfolio refinement with London-based image curators and luxury brand film producers
• Final industry presentation and jury evaluation
• Panel discussion: “The Future of AI in Fashion Image Authorship” with luxury executives and media directors
Output:
A final mixed-media portfolio and fashion film presentation integrating AI in post-production, visual enhancement, and narrative sequencing.
