Jay Osgerby, renowned British designer and co-founder of Barber Osgerby, joins Istituto Marangoni London as mentor for design programmes in the 2025/2026 academic year. 

Known for his cross-disciplinary work in product, furniture, and spatial design, Osgerby has collaborated with global brands like Vitra, Flos, and Louis Vuitton. He’s also the mind behind the iconic London 2012 Olympic Torch. 

Blending craft with technology, his studio pushes the boundaries between design, architecture, and innovation. 

As mentor, Osgerby will guide students through the creative challenges of contemporary design — bringing industry insight, global experience, and a future-focused perspective to the classroom.
