IM ALUMNI DESIGN DISTRICT

For Milano Design Week 2026, Istituto Marangoni Milano Design presents the IM Alumni Design District, a distributed network of exhibitions and installations showcasing alumni projects across key locations in Milan.

The IM Alumni Design District maps a constellation of projects, exhibitions and installations presented by alumni of Istituto Marangoni Milano Design during Milano Design Week 2026. Spread across the city, the initiative highlights the presence of former students within some of the most relevant design districts and cultural venues of Milan.

From independent exhibitions to brand collaborations and institutional showcases, alumni projects reflect a wide range of approaches and practices, spanning product design, interior design, jewellery and material research. Each intervention contributes to a broader narrative of contemporary design culture, where experimentation, innovation and professional practice converge.

The district unfolds across multiple locations, including showrooms, temporary spaces, universities and major exhibition platforms, reinforcing the role of the School as a dynamic hub connected to the international design ecosystem.
