Mentorship for the Master in Luxury Boutique Hotel Interior Design

At the heart of the collaboration is Studio Urquiola’s involvement in a Mentorship for the Master in Luxury Boutique Hotel Interior Design — a program designed to train professionals capable of creating iconic spaces in the luxury hospitality sector. With an approach that integrates design culture, storytelling, and aesthetic experimentation, students at Istituto Marangoni Milano Design will have the opportunity to engage with a unique and high-level design vision.

A Contest to Capture the Spirit of Places

To mark the collaboration, Istituto Marangoni Milano Design is launching a Contest dedicated to the Master program, inviting applicants to create a video of no more than 40 seconds on the theme “places and stories of unique spaces.” The goal is to authentically and emotionally convey the essence of a place in a visually engaging way—through images, text, voice, or motion graphics.

Projects must feature a clear narrative focus, a strong visual component, and a powerful, memorable conclusion. Talent-based scholarships of up to 50% of the tuition fee for the Master starting in September 2025 at the Milano Design School are up for grabs. The deadline to apply is September 8.
