A new contest with Prada for Milan Fashion Design students

A new creative contest, this time in collaboration with Prada, has been launched for Fashion Design students, who have been tasked with developing an innovative, functional, high-quality accessory.
The project was presented after an interesting talk on Prada's values and identity with Danilo Alberti, an Alumnus from the Milano School of Fashion. After graduating, Alberti has built a successful career in the fashion industry and is now head of Prada's accessories division as Leathergoods Design Director.
The aspiring designers will be given carte blanche and will be free to express their creativity by experimenting with different shapes, materials and leather processing techniques to create a distinctive and impactful product that embraces the brand's iconic heritage.
In the coming months, the participants will present their design proposals to Danilo Alberti and his team. It will be a unique opportunity to engage with industry experts and gain a professional perspective on accessory design, as well as to unleash their creativity and test their technical skills.
