Alumni’s talent showcased at the most important Fashion Weeks around the world

With a remarkable Alumni Community of more than 45.000 professionals, Istituto Marangoni is proud to support the talented alumni that take part in the most prestigious fashion weeks all over the world. A good 24 former students present their F/W2019 collections on the catwalks of the most important international capitals of fashion, a further confirmation of the valuable heritage that has been representing the educational method of Istituto Marangoni for more than 80 years, throughout the 10 branches of the Group around the globe. Within the Milano Fashion Week Women’s, scheduled from 20th to 26th february, 9 alumni will rock the catwalk: Lucio Vanotti, Daizy Shely, Nicola Brognano, Antonio D’Anna (head designer of Krizia), Alessandro De Benedetti (creative director of Mila Schon), Alberto Zambelli, Rico Manchit Au (with her brand Ricostru), Moschino and Dolce&Gabbana. Moreover, Martina Cella will showcase her brand within Fashion Hub Market, and alumni AnoukiRaquel Diniz and Gilda Ambrosio (with her brand Attico) are listed in the Presentations calendar, while Ermanno Scervino, brand ambassador of Istituto Marangoni, will host an exclusive fashion show within the official calendar of MFW. Golan Frydman, co-founder of Fyodor Golan, and Natalia Alaverdian, brand owner of A.W.A.K.E., showcase their creations during the London Fashion Week, respectively on the 16th and on the 20th of February. In New York, Francesca Canepa presents her label, Port Zienna, within the Council of Aspiring American Fashion Designers. In Barcelona, on February 1st, alumni Maria Fontanellas and Alejandro Ibanez Macia present their brands, Mietis and Jinksieminks, whereas in Mumbai, during the Lakme Fashion Week, Dhruv Kapoor, Anvita Sharma and Ragini Ahuja showcase their respective brands Dhruv Kapoor, Two.Two Studio and Ikai. During the Shanghai Fashion Week, scheduled from 28th March and 3rd April, Ji Cheng, Yanglei Yu (with his brand KRBL) and Jun Zhou (with his brand Pronounce) will present their collections, while Ani Datukishvili will take part in the Tbilisi Fashion Week (19th-22nd April). The presence of many former alumni at the world’s most important fashion weeks is proof that Istituto Marangoni is an excellent leader of Italian fashion education, thanks to a teaching staff formed by the best professionals in the sector, a prestigious international network, the valorisation of local talent and the values of Made in Italy alongside privileged relationships with the fashion industry.
