The style of Bianca Gervasio, who graduated in Fashion Design at Istituto Marangoni The Milano School of Fashion in 2002, recently won public acclaim at the 66th  Festival di Sanremo, the Italian song contest. Noemi, one of the most powerful, groovy voices in Italian music, indeed chose for her performances at the Ariston theatre four widely admired outfits, inspired by the atmosphere of the 70s and by the great female protagonists of the times, from Bianca Jagger to Janis Joplin and Françoise Hardy; created for her by the young Apulian designer: two long dresses, a single-breasted jacket and palazzo pants suit, and a chiffon blouse and wide-leg trousers ensemble. Creative director of the classy footwear brand Fragiacomo since 2013, Bianca Gervasio took her first steps in prêt-à-porter as designer for Mila Schön, the revered Milanese house, until becoming its creative director in 2007. The prestigious appointment didn't stop her from hitting, in the same period, the catwalk of AltaRoma with her eponymous haute couture collections, as well as from building a solid reputation as costume designer in a number of movies, short films, and theatre works. Actively involved in the world of art, over the years Bianca Gervasio has taken part in several international exhibitions and collectives with her installations, designs, and fashion shows: a testimony to her eclectic talent, cultivated since her years at Istituto Marangoni and making her among the most interesting names of the Italian creative scene of our times.
