Boyarovskaya Show at Istituto Marangoni Paris
Boyarovskaya founded by two Alumni from Istituto Marangoni, proudly showcases its latest collection as part of the official Paris Fashion Week calendar on February 29th. Drawing inspiration from the iconic black-and-white thrillers of American cinema, the collection presented at Istituto Marangoni Paris captivated audiences with its Hitchcockian silhouettes and noir-inspired allure.
The FW24 collection by Boyarovskaya exudes a sense of mystery and sophistication, with black leather dresses enveloping the bodies of enigmatic women reminiscent of the heroines of 1940s American Noirs. Reflecting on her creative process, Maria explains, "Our outfits exemplify our commitment to innovation while resonating with individuals seeking a touch of drama in their wardrobe." With previous experiences at Givenchy and John Galliano, Mara's background in haute couture is evident in her meticulous attention to detail and refined, edgy aesthetic.
For Mara, Istituto Marangoni holds special significance, serving as the foundation of her journey into the world of fashion design. It was here that she met Artem Kononenko, now a fashion photographer, with whom she co-founded Boyarovskaya in 2017. Since its inception, Boyarovskaya has garnered acclaim and is now distributed by prestigious retailers such as La Samaritaine and farfetch.com.
