Istituto Marangoni continues to enhance and reward talent by offering scholarships for promising creatives in fashion and design. Scholarship contests were promoted by partnering with leading luxury and design companies of the likes of Versace, Etro, Zadig & Voltaire, McCann and Cappellini, each contributing with state-of-the-art experience and industry expertise.

Each scholarship comes with a dedicated contest and entitles recipients to significant deductions on tuition fees for Master’s programmes at Istituto Marangoni Milano, Firenze and Paris.

The proposal submission deadline is June 28, 2021.

MILANO SCHOOL OF FASHION


MASTER’S IN WOMENSWEAR FASHION DESIGN · ETRO

Istituto Marangoni partners with luxury fashion house Etro to offer creative designers the opportunity to get a scholarship amounting to 50% of the tuition fee for the Master’s in Fashion Design Womenswear, starting in October 2021 at the Milano Fashion School.

To determine the recipient of the scholarship, Istituto Marangoni asks applicants to design a capsule collection of 5 outfits, featuring a personal, contemporary take on the Brand’s iconic paisley prints to inspire future fashion trends.

MASTER IN FASHION OMNICHANNEL & E-COMMERCE · VERSACE

Istituto Marangoni and global fashion leader Versace are partnering to offer a 50% fee reduction scholarship for the Master’s in Fashion Omnichannel & E-Commerce starting in October 2021 at the Milano Fashion school.

The call is for graduated and graduating students, as well as for professionals with experience in the fashion business. To apply, participants are asked to analyse Versace’s current omnichannel strategy in their Country of origin and come up with an original idea that conveys the Brand DNA while improving engagement and sales among Gen Zers.

To be submitted by June 28, the projects will be judged by a committee of renowned Italian and international fashion experts and Istituto Marangoni representatives.

MILANO DESIGN SCHOOL

MASTER’S IN PRODUCT & FURNITURE DESIGN · CAPPELLINI

Istituto Marangoni calls for innovative design ideas in collaboration with Italian avant-garde furniture company Cappellini. The new scholarship contest is all about visually appealing designer products for both the real and the digital world.

Participants are asked to design of a piece of furniture that tells a unique story, making sure that their product has the same visual impact and narrative force in both its material version and its digital form on social media.

The call is for graduates in product and industrial design or architecture, students who will graduate by October 2021, and professionals in industrial design, interior design or architecture, who can submit their proposals by June 28. The selected recipient will be awarded a 100% deduction on the tuition fee (enrolment fee is due) for the Product & Furniture Design Master’s Course starting in 2021 at the Istituto Marangoni Milano Design School.

MASTER’S IN DIGITAL ART DIRECTION · McCANN

Istituto Marangoni partners with McCann to offer aspiring digital designers a scholarship for the Master’s in Digital Art Direction starting in October 2021 at the Milano Design School. Connecting brands and people across 100+ countries with the latest marketing intelligence and innovative research, McCann Worldgroup makes the perfect partner for a scholarship in digital art direction.

Applicants to this contest are asked to develop a project celebrating the importance of diversity and uniqueness in the current global era. Whether a photo, illustration or a short video, the creative proposal will need to include a key visual and copy with the aim to raise awareness and create engagement.

FIRENZE ART & FASHION SCHOOL


MASTER’S IN LUXURY ACCESSORIES DESIGN & MANAGEMENT · VERSACE

Istituto Marangoni partners with Versace to launch an exclusive scholarship contest for aspiring designers with a focus on accessories.

After a thorough brand analysis, applicants will be asked to design 2 bags, each reflecting and rethinking one of the high fashion label’s House Codes. With each bag, they will also have to design 1 pair of shoes and 1 small leather accessory, including wallets, belts or phone pouches, for men, women or gender neutral.

Winners will get 50% off their tuition fee for the Master’s in Luxury Accessories Design & Management starting in October 2021 at the Firenze Art & Fashion School.

MASTER’S IN FASHION, ART & TEXTILE INNOVATION · ETRO

Istituto Marangoni partners with luxury fashion house Etro to launch a scholarship contest for the Master’s in Fashion, Art and Textile Innovation starting in October 2021 at the Fashion & Art School in Firenze.

Graduates, graduating seniors and professionals will have their chance to gain a scholarship by creating 3 total looks featuring innovative fabric manipulation ideas, accompanied by the relevant supporting materials. All 3 looks should be inspired by the AW22 Etro collection and the brand’s iconic patterns and prints, and at least one of them should reflect an expression of sustainability in luxury.

The most creative project will be entitled to a scholarship of up to 50% off the cost of the Master’s.

PARIS FASHION SCHOOL


MASTER’S IN FASHION BUYING & MERCHANDISING · ZADIG&VOLTAIRE

Aspiring fashion designers will get their chance to access the Master’s in Fashion Buing & Merchandising in Milano with a scholarship by applying for the contest “Zadig&Voltaire: Expanding on the Chinese market”.

Now in its third year, the contest launched by Istituto Marangoni in partnership with fashion label Zadig&Voltaire calls for applicants to come up with an expansion strategy for the Zadig&Voltaire Chinese market. The project will involve research on brand awareness, consumer profiles, local stores, brand value chain and core competencies. The proposals will be judged by a panel of experts and Istituto Marangoni lecturers, chaired by Zadig&Voltaire Artistic Director Cecilia Bonstrom.

The scholarship recipient will get 50% off their tuition fees for the Fashion Buying & Merchandising Master’s starting in October 2021 at the Istituto Marangoni Paris Fashion School.
