Istituto Marangoni School of Design, in collaboration with Siam Paragon and Wallpaper Magazine, presents “Cappellini Design Symposium” during the “Siam Paragon Italian Design Week”, one of the international-scale exhibition in Thailand. The world-renowned Italian designer Giulio Cappellini, art director of Istituto Marangoni School of Design in Milano and of Cappellini Company, will showcase his unique creations. “Siam Paragon Italian Design Week” brings together creativity, inspiration and design masterworks from different genres, in order to appeal design buffs through the works of prominent fashion designers who have left distinctive imprints in shaping the current design industry. The weeklong event promote the design industry and will see the participation of Thailand’s emerging design who are alumni of Istituto Maragoni School of Fashion: Tipanan Krairiksh Srifuengfung, owner of the Tu’i brand, presents ‘LE BAL MASQUE’, her F/W 2014 glamorous collection of handcrafted exotic bags; Ploi Horwang’s universe of Him and Her with ‘CASH QUEEN,’ showcases a total look collection which emphasizes the ideal of old-school frenchmaid girls; Chavaporn Laohapongchana, a.k.a. Ploy, with her elegant yet naughty Paris-inspired collection ‘LOST IN PARIS’ by P's Material; Nasha Mekraksavanich, accessories designer, will take us back in time with ‘MODERN MEDIEVAL,’ inspired by the hidden symbols of medieval churches reduced to their basic expression; Duang Poshyanonda, Harper’s Bazaar Thailand EIC, presents a three-work-piece mini collection, a limited edition inspired by Salvador Dali’s artwork; Vitchukorn Chokedeetaweeanan, creative Director of Greyhound Original, presenting her latest collection ‘STRIPE TYPO’ characterised by the use of special stripe effects in black and white; Chanachai Ohpanayikool, owner of Shake Appeal.
