Crafting Futures: Istituto Marangoni Paris Celebrates 20 Years Through the Creativity of Its Fashion Design Graduates
To mark its 20th anniversary in Paris, Istituto Marangoni Paris presented Crafting Futures, the 2026 Fashion Design Graduate Show, held in the exceptional setting of the Hôtel de Galliffet, home of the Italian Cultural Institute in Paris.
More than a runway presentation, Crafting Futures celebrated two decades of nurturing international creative talent while looking towards the future of fashion. The event showcased ten final collections created by students from the BA Fashion Design programme, each reflecting a unique creative identity shaped by technical excellence, craftsmanship and cultural diversity.

Fashion Without Borders
Representing eight nationalities, the graduating designers transformed their personal stories, cultural heritage and contemporary perspectives into original fashion narratives. From explorations of femininity and identity to architectural inspirations, historical references and traditional craftsmanship, every collection demonstrated a distinctive vision while embracing innovation and experimentation.
Developed throughout the academic year, the collections combined artisanal techniques, textile research and innovative garment construction, illustrating how emerging designers reinterpret heritage through a contemporary lens.
Learning Through Industry
At Istituto Marangoni Paris, creativity is strengthened through continuous dialogue with the fashion industry.
For this edition, students benefited from the support of prestigious industry partners who contributed materials used to develop their collections.
Rino Mastrotto supplied premium leather for selected collections, while Dover Street Market Paris and Courrèges provided fabrics that allowed students to experiment with exceptional materials and translate their creative visions into finished garments.
These collaborations reflect Istituto Marangoni Paris' educational philosophy: connecting students with leading industry partners and providing hands-on experiences that prepare them for professional careers in luxury fashion.
Celebrating Craftsmanship in a New Creative Era
The 2026 collections shared a common commitment to craftsmanship, material exploration and technical innovation. Throughout the programme, students explored traditional making techniques while embracing contemporary design approaches, demonstrating how fashion craftsmanship continues to evolve in an increasingly digital landscape.
As generative artificial intelligence reshapes the creative industries, the designers presented collections that reaffirmed the value of human creativity, technical expertise and artisanal savoir-faire, proving that innovation and craftsmanship are complementary forces shaping the future of fashion.
Looking Towards the Future
For twenty years, Istituto Marangoni Paris has welcomed students from around the world, providing an international environment where creativity, innovation and industry collaboration come together.
Crafting Futures embodies this vision by celebrating the next generation of fashion designers and the ideas that will shape tomorrow's industry.
Congratulations to our BA Fashion Design Class of 2026.
