Istituto Marangoni faculty member Lisa Hockemeyer will deliver a series of talks on the secrets behind the success of Italian Design at some of the most prestigious universities in India. Italian identity and know-how remain central in “100% Made in Italy. The Fascination of Italian Design”. This is the title of the lecture that Lisa Hockemeyer – Istituto Marangoni programme leader of the Product & Accessory Design programmes – will be giving throughout this month: 19th November at NID · 3.00pm · Gandhinagar 20th November at JD institute of Design · 10am -12.30pm · Bangalore 22nd November at Rachana Sansad · 10.30am Mumbai Open to students and fans alike, this is an opportunity for a highly motivated country towards creativity and experimentation such as India, to reflect upon one of the dearest issues to Istituto Marangoni: to promote and foster throughout the world the success of the Italian design culture, played out in its aesthetic and quality aspects. “Made in Italy implies a certain value in terms of style, craftsmanship, processing and detailing: products sporting this guarantee are undeniably different to those from elsewhere.” said Cristina Morozzi, the new Director of Education at the Istituto Marangoni School of Design.
