Diverse Fashion Perspectives

This exhibition showcases the work of MA Fashion Design graduates from Istituto Marangoni London. Our students come from varied international backgrounds and bring their unique points of view to fashion practice. The work showcased is evidence of an exciting array of contributions to knowledge around fashion design and its systems both now and what they could be in the future. From concerns around fashion waste, design for mending, traditional crafts such as block printing, critiques of colonialism in fashion to the impact of AI on the design process; our students are exploring the current debates in the fashion industry, forging new paths and offering diverse fashion perspectives.

At Masters level it is crucial that students find, test, explore and refine their individual values and identities as designers of the future. They must develop something new to say in the face of global challenges and determine their personal contribution to shaping the future.
