Istituto Marangoni takes part in the 2017 edition of Fashion Graduate Italia, the first open event dedicated to the Fashion System and its processes, organised by Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda: 3 days of talks, shows, booths and workshops to discuss and communicate the trends of a continuously evolving industry. From 5th to 7th November, at BASE in via Bergognone 34, Milano, academics, students and professionals meet to celebrate the long tradition of Italian fashion and its global relevance, to exchange ideas, to analyse and understand the multiple directions of fashion through the lenses of Schools and professionals. Istituto Marangoni will take part in three different events within Fashion Graduate Italia. On Sunday 5th November, at 6pm, Paolo Meroni, Director of Education of The Milano School of Fashion, will be among the guest speakers of the panel “The school that doesn’t exist”, where Italian and international academics and professionals will exchange ideas and envision possible future developments and best practices. On Monday 6th November, at 2pm, alumnus Armando Costa, the protagonist of the mentoring project I’M Alumni Collections ®evolution, will take part in the panel dedicated to successful alumni, to discuss the story behind the creation of their own brands. In addition to these two panels, Istituto Marangoni is proud to present the most talented student collections of 2017 in a public fashion show, on Monday 6th November, at 10.30pm. Giovanni Piazzalunga, Choi Yeon In, Giorgia Gentile, Zhu Wen, Chiara Columbu and Hu Xin, who graduated from the Milano School of Fashion, will showcase their graduate collections.
