Last October 12th, 2023, Felipe Fiallo, I’M Alumnus of Istituto Marangoni Firenze, was announced the runner-up of the 5th edition of the prestigious Circular Design Challenge, India’s biggest sustainability award, during Lakmé Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI.

For the first time, non-Indian designers were invited to participate in the contest organised by R|ElanTM, the next-gen fabric brand of India’s largest conglomerate - Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), in association with the United Nations in India. As the winner of the first EU Selection Chapter of the Contest, organised in collaboration with Istituto Marangoni, Felipe received the opportunity to showcase his work at the finale show.

As runner-up, Felipe won a prize money and the opportunity to join a mentorship program with Orsola De Castro, sustainable fashion designer and founder of Fashion Revolution.
