FUTURE:VERSE
For the 103rd edition of Pitti Immagine Uomo, Istituto Marangoni Firenze set up an exclusive party at the Florentine techno club Space Electronic, open to the entire student and alumni Community and a select range of press guests and socialites.
To enliven the night, two artists well known by electronic music lovers: Boss Doms, musician and historic professional partner of Achille Lauro, and Thomas Costantin, sound designer and new it boy of Milanese clubbing.
Founded in 1969 by Carlo Caldini and Fabrizio Fiumi, components of the 9999 collective, and inspired by the Electric Circus, a New York disco club where the visionary Rudy Stern experimented with Andy Warhol innovative combinations of music and art – effectively inventing Multimedia Art – the Space was one of most iconic places in the city in the 1960s, offering a series of activities ranging from performance art, group shows, parties and exhibitions.
All the attendees interpreted the dress code of the night according to their own personal vision: futurecore, an aesthetic that became viral on TikTok over the last two years, featuring a series of nuanced characteristics that stretch from psychedelic colours to metallic tints, ripped jerseys to technical outerwear.
A special occasion to celebrate the soul of the Florentine school between fashion and art, imagining a highly creative future where everything is possible.
