The second Fashion Hub Market, the project supporting emerging brands promoted by the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana during Milano Moda Donna, this season opens the doors of the futuristic UniCredit Pavilion in Gae Aulenti Square to sixteen new Italian and international brands. Among them are Violante Nessi and Matteo Lamandini, two Istituto Marangoni The Milano School of Fashion graduates in Fashion Design, invited to present their Fall Winter 2016/17 creations to the public of Milan Fashion Week. Born from a German-Italian father and Chilean mother and graduated in 2011, at only 26 Violante Nessi already has worked at the design offices of the New York based brands Marc Jacobs, Altuzarra and Proenza Shouler, and later of Tom Ford in London. Curious and enterprising, passionate about art and painting, Violante founded her namesake brand in 2014 and presented her first womenswear collection in Spring Summer 2015. Instead, men's ready-to-wear is favoured by Matteo Lamandini, born in 1989. After his education and the first job experiences at MSGM and Marni, in 2014 he won the contest Designers for Tomorrow; a success that allowed him to create his first own collection for Spring Summer 2016, followed by a capsule collection designed for Tommy Hilfiger. Represented by the Milan showroom Breramode, Matteo Lamandini's Fall Winter 2016/17 collection has already appeared at Pitti Uomo and Capsule Paris.
