Istituto Marangoni’s students will unveil the first exclusive creation born out of a new partnership between the prestigious online platform for luxury fashion LuisaViaRoma and Istituto Marangoni. Giovanni Becagli, a student of the Milano School of Design, has worked on designing and producing a sweatshirt in close collaboration with LuisaViaRoma. The limited-edition sweatshirt represents the creativity of our students along the passion for high quality and luxury of LuisaViaRoma. The project, with a strong entrepreneurial focus, sees the reinterpretation of the university sweatshirt into a fashion garment. This is only the beginning of a new fantastic partnership in the fashion world, aimed at enhancing young creative designers. In the future, the project will involve both students and Alumni towards proposing new creative ideas for products branded Istituto Marangoni/ LVR that will be selected, produced and commercialized by LuisaViaRoma. The students will present the sweatshirts for the first time to the public on the catwalk at Pitti Uomo 94, after the students’ menswear collection show and after the winner for 2018 Best Menswear Designer is announced. The appointment is for June 11. LuisaViaRoma luxury e-commerce will be the exclusive channel to buy the sweatshirts branded Istituto Marangoni/LVR.
