istituto marangoni hosts the icosae menswear show
On Friday, January 22 Istituto Marangoni The Paris School of Fashion opened its doors in rue de Miromesnil to host the Autumn Winter 2016/17 menswear show by Paris-based design collective ICOSAE.
Founded in 2013 by brothers Valentin and Florentin Glemarec and Anthony Hor, ICOSAE is known for its distinctive approach to fashion, combining graphic design, art, and new technologies. Asymmetrical cuts, oversized shapes, and textile experimentation define the timeless style of the brand; mixing the classical shapes of men's tailoring in a wardrobe designed for a forward-thinking man at ease in the Parisian underground milieu.
Living from the inside, the carrying out of a real fashion show proved to be a valuable experience for over 30 students at Istituto Marangoni The Paris School of Fashion, who enjoyed the opportunity to actively participate in its organization; helping in fittings, dressing the models, and supporting the event production.
Talking of the school's ongoing commitment to supporting young designers, Valérie Berdah-Levy, School Director of Istituto Marangoni The Paris School of Fashion, said “In future I would like to support similar ambitious projects, which are necessary to the development of the fashion industry, as well as to the enhancement of talent.”
