During the 2016 edition of Milano Moda Uomo, designer Lucio Vanotti, graduate of the Milano School of Fashion, presented his collection on the stage of Armani Teatro. This opportunity results from Giorgio Armani’s esteemed initiative aimed at supporting promising creative talents in the panorama of local and international Fashion. Vanotti is the second designer – after Daizy Shely last September – to uphold the honour of Istituto Marangoni on Giorgio Armani’s runway. A major player in the Italian Fashion industry for over a decade, from his debut in 2002 to the launch, in 2012, of his namesake brand, and winner of prestigious Italian and international awards, Lucio Vanotti stands out for his plain and essential style, characterised by a sophisticated rationalism. Lucio Vanotti has welcomed this event as a significant acknowledgement: “I really wish to thank the one who, besides being a great example of entrepreneurial dynamism, is also the inventor of an aesthetic code appreciated throughout the world, which has influenced me so far and which I strongly identify with.”
