Istituto Marangoni was one of the official partners of Milan Design Week Out, the international event that, in cooperation with one of Shanghai’s most important districts, Jing An, aimed at bringing “Fuori Salone” to China. In front of the Exhibition Centre, home of Salone del Mobile Milano Shanghai, two different worlds will be displayed: an exhibition of international fashion, developed along Nanjing Road W and characterised by eight installations dedicated to iconic luxury and fashion brands representing the values of Made in Italy, and a vast indoor garden of approximately 1.000 m2 dedicated to lifestyle, with the best food, wine and design brands. Within the Shanghai Exhibition Centre, Istituto Marangoni Milano · The School of Design showcased the Prisma Project, originally presented on the occasion of the Salone di Mobile in Milan and created by Gustavo Martini, Matteo Agati, Giulio Masciocchi and Térence Coton, a team of young and talented Alumni who worked under the guidance of architect and product design teacher Sergio Nava. Prisma Project produced four lamps using OLED technology, crafted with crucial support from Sharebot, leading Italian company that manufactures professional 3D printers. A work that takes shape from innovation, design and aesthetic research, the best expression of Italian savoir faire. Along Nanjing Road W, Istituto Marangoni showcased the outfits designed by Armando Costa, Alumnus of the Milano School of Fashion. The designer has been chosen as the protagonist of the first edition of I’M Alumni Collections ®evolution, the new mentoring project to support and promote the work of the most talented graduates of Istituto Marangoni, and who had the opportunity to hold a fashion show in September during Milan Fashion Week. Moreover, on November 24th, within the Forum organised by the economic magazine Forbes, Cristina Morozzi, Brand Ambassador of Istituto Marangoni Group, held a lecture focusing on the fashion system in China; later, Istituto Marangoni promoted a talk on “The power of talent” and the best emerging creativity.
