On 6th November 2015, Istituto Marangoni lecturer Matteo Lenzotti, expert re-styling and re-branding specialist, held a lecture titled ‘Fashion Design Today. How this profession has changed in the years and what does it mean to be a Fashion Designer today.’ The seminar, open to the public, is organised in collaboration with SoFa Design Institute and will take place in Makati City, Philippines. In a region where Fashion is on the run to become a major player in the industry, a closer look at the evolution of the figure of the fashion designer over the years and his current role within the Fashion System is set to be an insightful experience for the many students and professionals willing to attend the open seminar and improve their fashion knowledges. Matteo Lenzotti is a Fashion Creative Director with more than 10 years of experience as a Fashion Designer. Over the past years, he delivered projects for prestigious brands including Max Mara and Aquilano, Rimondi, before shifting towards the Chinese market, where he has been working for 6 years now as a brand expert with several Chinese companies. Regarded as one of the Top 20 alumni of Istituto Marangoni Milano in 2009, Lenzotti joined the staff of lecturers of Istituto Marangoni Shangai Training Centre in 2013, where he currently works as a Fashion Design tutor.
