A Special Fashion Week With Exclusive Istituto Marangoni’s Events

The next Fashion Week, running from February 22nd to 27th, is ready to start. Istituto Marangoni is set to welcome the new edition of Milano Moda Donnawith a rich programme of activities aimed at providing visibility to its students and boost the prestige of the School on the international stage. Some didactic lectures will be given between February 22nd and 24th, for students and Millennials to deepen their understanding of topics related to Fashion trends and the Fashion world with special guests and industry experts. On February 22nd, IM teacher Alessandra Zambonin will speak about Fashion Drawing, while Andrea Tremolada - Communication Director at Roberto Cavalli – will address “The importance of following dreams”. On February 23rd, Riccardo Rubino will explore the inspirational style ofMade in Italy, and the next day Alessandro Castiglioni will provide his interpretation of the borders between Fashion and contemporary Art, followed in the afternoon by fashion designer Maurizio Baldassari giving a talk around the development of fashion and international markets. In addition, in partnership with the fashion magazine I-D, a team of students will follow some of the most important fashion shows along the editor-at-large for a project of scouting for the latest trends that will be shared on social media of the Vice and Marangoni Institute. The partnership also includes a final party in the prestigious hall of Cavallerizze inside the Museum of Natural Sciences with the exclusive participation of Chiara Ferragni and The Blonde Salad team. The Moreschi group will showcase the accessories and shoes developed in partnership with IM alumni within a dedicated corner at the showroom in Piazza San Babila, where the crafts shoes manufacturer is displaying the brand’s designs. Finally, the winners of the latest Milano Moda Graduate will exhibit their works at the Fashion Hub within the Unicredit Pavilion in Piazza Gae Aulenti, Milano. For the occasion, former student Praeploy Sooksawee will  show her creations in a specially designed space.
