At Istituto Marangoni, we’ve always been Pioneers.

As one of the longest-standing schools of fashion, design, art and beauty breaking new ground is in our DNA. So, when I became the first female Managing Director in 2020, it felt like a natural step in our journey of innovation.

That same forward-thinking spirit has propelled us to where we are today—ranked among the top 100 fashion schools globally by QS ranking , 1st in Italy and continually expanding our presence in key fashion hubs. From opening our Dubai campus in 2022 to launching the Higher Training Institute in Riyadh thanks the endorsement of the Saudi Fashion Commission, we’re proud to be the first international Higher Education Group in the creative fields to establish a footprint in Saudi Arabia.

It’s an extraordinary moment for women in fashion, design and beauty across the region. Boundaries are shifting, and opportunities are no longer confined to distant cities. Talented women no longer need to leave home to build global careers—they can do it right here.

At Istituto Marangoni, we put talent first, and in today’s landscape, many of the most promising young creatives are women eager to make their mark. Saudi Arabia is one of the most appealing market with a strong DNA and culture—from its thriving fashion weeks to the influx of international brands and designers—all within a GCC luxury market worth $80 billion.

Through our specialized courses, aspiring and established professionals can shape and reinforce their skills and apply them in the Saudi fashion scene—or wherever in the world. With internship opportunities, study-abroad experiences, and direct access to global industry networks, our students are stepping confidently into careers that once seemed out of reach.

Education and vocational training are the pillars for a country that wants express its legacy—they’re catalysts for empowerment. The creative industries thrive on self-expression, and fashion is an incredible platform for women to showcase their vision and talent. Since 2022, women have made up 52% of Saudi Arabia’s fashion workforce—a testament to the country’s commitment to gender representation.

As Saudi Arabia cements its place on the global luxury map, we are excited to help shape the next generation of visionary women who will define its future.
