Istituto Marangoni The London School of Fashion recently hosted the second in a series of talks entitled "Where Are They Now?", featuring some of its 2015 graduates, who were invited to share their experience with an audience of existing students. Alumni Eleanor Calder, assistant designer at NTS London Steilmann; Patricia Pala Barangan and Klara Norri, assistant merchandisers at Ted Baker and Burberry respectively; and Luciana Males Barwinski, who works in the Aspiga e-commerce department, talked about their studies at Istituto Marangoni. They also explained their career path after graduation, giving some useful tips about the recruitment process they have gone through; and described their current job roles in luxury brand management and design, including their typical work day, some concrete projects, and examples from their actual work. Welcomed by an enthusiastic group of students, the Alumni were animated, with humorous anecdotes and inspirational stories that encouraged the audience to go on to become future fashion professionals. More talks of the series “Where Are They Now?” are planned at Istituto Marangoni The London School of Fashion from October, 2016.
