Inside Vogue Café
Istituto Marangoni Paris students recently had the exceptional opportunity to attend a series of exclusive events hosted by Vogue, offering direct access to some of the most influential figures in the global fashion and creative industries.
Held across different locations in Paris — including the pop-up Vogue Café on Rue de Castiglione — these encounters brought students closer than ever to the realities, reflections, and vision driving contemporary fashion.
Conversations on Fashion, Culture, and Heritage
The first session featured Alexandre Samson, fashion historian and curator, in conversation with Chioma Nnadi, Head of Content at British Vogue. Together, they explored the cultural significance of fashion, touching on themes such as heritage, vintage, and the emotional value of clothing.
Students were invited to reflect on fashion beyond trends — as a form of transmission, memory, and identity. From the rise of vintage in the late 1960s to the idea of the wardrobe as a personal archive, the discussion highlighted how garments can carry history, meaning, and personal narratives.

Creativity and Vision with Pharrell Williams
At the Vogue Café, students attended an inspiring talk with Pharrell Williams, Creative Director of Louis Vuitton Menswear, in conversation with Claire Thomson-Jonville, Head of Editorial Content at Vogue France.
Pharrell Williams shared insights into his creative approach, returning to key themes that define his work: curiosity, imagination, and a strong design philosophy. His perspective offered students a deeper understanding of how creativity and vision are translated into a global luxury brand.

A Moment with Anna Wintour
The experience culminated in a highly anticipated conversation with Anna Wintour and film director Baz Luhrmann. In a rare and memorable moment, students got a chance to meet Anna Wintour in person and sharing their impressions of the talk with her face-to-face.
Learning Beyond the Classroom
These events exemplify Istituto Marangoni Paris’ commitment to immersive learning experiences. By connecting students with leading industry professionals, the school ensures that education remains closely aligned with the evolving realities of fashion, media, and culture.
Through these encounters, students gain not only knowledge, but perspective — an essential element in shaping the next generation of creative talent.
