CREATIVE VISION

Araucaria fuses gorpcore style with the organic essence of southern Chile, drawing inspiration from the Araucaria tree and the landscapes of Patagonia. The collection follows the journey of an “unwilling explorer” who ventures into the unknown while holding on to the comfort of home. Technical fabrics like nylon express adaptability and function, while warm materials such as mohair and felt evoke softness, refuge, and emotional grounding. Through a dynamic interplay of practicality and comfort, the garments embody the internal tension between adventure and the familiar.

THE DESIGNER VOICE

“Originally from Chile, I began my studies at Istituto Marangoni Milan before transferring to Paris. My design approach explores contrasts—urban life and nature, practicality and comfort—seeking to tell stories through silhouettes and textures.”
