TEXT(S) TURE(S) Firenze Fashion Show 2025 · Collection by Martina La Gatta
"Each garment is a relic of memory—my grandmother’s words stitched into fabric, then partially lost, like all things we hold dear."
– Martina La Gatta
The designer reinterprets the tradition of hand embroidery in a sculptural form, using a love letter written by her grandmother as the conceptual and material core of the garments.
Each piece becomes a wearable relic: embroidered on water-soluble fabric, the text partially dissolves, blurring legibility and transforming the letter into a private, intimate layer.

Martina La Gatta, 21, is from Naples and studies Fashion Design & Accessories at Istituto Marangoni Firenze. Her work blends personal memories, family heritage, and artisanal embroidery.
